Suffolk County Sheriff's Office giving back through the game of hockey
Yesterday, Sheriff Toulon, his Executive Staff and the SCSO Hockey Team Captains held a check presentation ceremony to present the proceeds from two SCSO Hockey charity games to two incredible charities. The first check went to the @det_brian_simonsen_foundationfrom SCSO’s matchup against the @nypddetectiveshockeyteam in October, raising $5,000.
The second check went to the @andrewmcmorrisfoundationfrom the 2024 Suffolk Showdown charity game against the @scffhc in November, raising $6,000. Since 2022, we’ve raised over $50,000 for various causes and organizations through the game of hockey.
