AMF and MADD host 2nd Annual Battle of the High School Jazz Bands at NYCB Theater at Westbury

Thank you to all who supported MADD's 2nd Annual Battle of the High School Jazz Bands at NYCB Theater at Westbury! AMF was honored to sponsor this event and present the awards to the winning bands with MADD Regional Executive Director Shawn Hirst, Regional Development Director Tara Spohrer, and Nassau County Police Department Inspector Gus Kalin.

Thank you to East Meadow High School, Harborfields High School, Ward Melville High School, Hicksville High School, and Uniondale High School for participating.

Thank you to MADD NY/NJ/PA's Regional Program Director Isai Fuentes and Victim Services Specialist Dennis O’Connor, as well as all of MADD’s volunteers who were present at the event. AMF was honored to meet all of the other sponsors and law enforcement at the event as well.

AMF was extremely excited to have friend of the Foundation Carter Rubin, Andrew’s friend and winner of Season 19 of The Voice, sing the National Anthem at the event.

In addition to the winning band, East Meadow High School Jazz Ensemble, performing at the walk, the top fundraising band from all applicants also have a chance to earn their spot to perform on stage at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater during the Long Island Walk Like MADD on Saturday, June 10th.
